How to tell if your device is a Smartphone, a Pocket
PC phone or a Pocket PC

When purchasing or setting up your device, it is important to know which version
of Windows Mobile operating system is installed on your device.

Pocket PCs have a stylus for touch screen operation.
The windows flag logo appears on the top left corner of the home screen. The
operating system is Windows Mobile 5 For Pocket PC, Premium Edition or Windows Mobile
6 Classic.

Pocket PC Phones have a stylus for touch screen
operation. The windows flag logo appears on the top left corner of the home
screen. The operating system is Windows Mobile 5 For Pocket PC, Phone Edition
or Windows Mobile 6 Professional.

Our software works on the above devices.

Smartphones do not have a touch screen or a stylus.

have either QWERTY keyboards or 12-key keypad. The operating system is Windows
