The Nests and Eggs module is designed for you to use a number
of nest and egg characteristics and other filters to help you identify a bird nest
or egg that you saw out in the field. You are able
to view an example of each characteristic before selecting it. The [Pre-filter]
function allows you to narrow down you choice of nests and eggs by selecting the
habitat and distribution (area) you were in.

Functions include
- Sound - play the call of each bird in the list.
- List Operations -
save the filtered list, export the filtered list or return the filtered list to
the identification module.
- Pre-filter - select
a habitat, distribution or use the ID module to pre-filter you list.
- Clear - clears all filters
that are presently selected and returns filtered list to full Southern Africa list.
- Return - takes user to the
previously used module.

The aim is to use the nest characteristic key and other

being selected.
- Browse the
nest and egg photos
This operation will help you learn you nests and eggs. You
can select a bird in the list and view its nests and egg photographs or use the
Identification module to view the photographs.
- Bird List
After filtering the list, you are able to save the list,
export the list or use the list in another module. You can also print out the filtered
list.
