Happy Rest Nature Reserve Happy-Rest Nature Reserve and Schoemansdal Environmental Education Centre are situated in the foothills of the Soutpansberg, 22km west of Louis Trichardt.
Although best known for it's many different types of vegetation, it has a bird list of over 250 species. Birds range from typical Access is off the R522 and by prior arrangement with The Head, Schoemansdal Environmental Education Centre, P O Box 737, Louis Trichardt 0920.
